Australia tour to England 1934. Official programme for the F.A. Cup Final, Portsmouth v Manchester City, played at Wembley Stadium 28th April 1934. The programme signed in pencil (one in ink) to the centre ‘field of play’ pages by fourteen attendees including members of the Australian touring party. Australian players’ signatures in pencil are O’Reilly, Ponsford, Chipperfield, Ebeling, Barnett, Kippax, Woodfull, Bradman, Wall, McCabe and Darling. Also signed by Frank Swift of Manchester City, J. Smith[?] of Portsmouth and one other unidentified in ink. The programme with wrappers, centre and some rear pages detached, wear, small losses and staining to wrappers, rusting to staples. Overall in fair/ good condition.
