West Indies tour of England 1928. A piece of Maid’s Head Hotel, Norwich letterhead nicely signed in ink by the entire West Indies touring party, the assistant manager Scheult and the scorer to England. the letterhead headed ‘West Indies Cricket Team 1928’ and nicely signed in ink by R.K. Nunes (Cpt), Martin, Rae, Bartlett, Challenor, Francis, Griffith, Hoad, Brown, Neblett, Wight, Constantine, Roach, Small, St Hill, Scott and Fernandes. Dewhurst dropped out of the original party and was replaced by Scoot and Fernandes. The signature of Hoad on a laid down paper piece. The letterhead has been slightly trimmed and measures 4”x7.5”. This was the fourth tour by a West Indies team to England and the first to include Test matches against England
