‘India 1946’. Large sheet of ‘ledger’ size paper (9.5”x15.5”) very nicely signed in black ink by fifteen members of the 1946 Indian touring party to England. Signatures are Nawab of Pataudi (Captain), Merchant, Sarwate, Banerjee, Nimbalkar, Mushtaq Ali, Modi, Hazare, Mankad, Nayudu, Sohoni, Gul Mohammad, Shinde, Kardar and Hindlekar. Lacking one signature of Amarnath from the touring party. A beautifully signed sheet of signatures with gilt to page edges. Some smudging to the signature of Banerjee, otherwise in very good condition.
