Large original hand coloured tinted lithograph of Hillyer in cricket attire holding a cricket ball, wearing a top hat with large house and other cricketers to the background. Published by John Corbet Anderson on 17th June 1850 and R. Dark, Lord’s Ground, Printed by Hullmandel & Walton. Framed and glazed, Overall 13”x18”. Sold with a smaller hand coloured aquatint of Roger Kynaston Jun Esq, the player wearing top hat and with hands in a catching position. After Charles J. Basebe, published by W.H. Mason, Repository of Arts in Brighton. October 13th 1841. Attractively mounted, framed and glazed, overall 13”x15”. Good condition. Qty 2.
