Kumar Shri Ranjitsinhji. Cambridge University, Sussex, London County & England 1893-1920. ‘Ranji Centenary Celebrations 1972’. Official folding scorecard produced by the Indian Oil Corporation for Board President’s XI v Ranjit XI played at Jamnagar 10th- 12th September 1972 to celebrate the Centenary of Ranji’s birth. The scorecard with image of Ranji to front, printed scorecard to centre with complete handwritten scores in ink, and career statistics to rear. The teams featured many Indian Test players including Nawab of Pataudi, Venkataraghavan, Parkar, Mankad, Baig, Abid Ali, Solkar, Amarnath, Indrajitsinhji etc., also two Australian Test players, Ross Edwards and Bob Massie. The Ranji XI won by 11 runs. Printed by Ramesh P. Press, Rajkot. 6.5”x10” folded. Very good condition.
