Sussex C.C.C. 1896. Two large album pages with printed autograph boxes and attractive ornate decoration. Each box has been beautifully signed individually in black ink, comprising eight signatures of the eleven members of the Sussex team who played Lancashire at Old Trafford, 14th- 16th May 1896. Signatures are K.S. Ranjitsinhji, George Brann, Billy Murdoch, Billy Newham, Ernest ‘Tim’ Killick, Harry Butt, Francis Marlow, and the rarer Richard Kentfield (Lancashire & Sussex 1888-1896, 4 first-class matches). Each page measures 9”x6.5”. One page additionally signed to verso by John I’Anson (Lancashire), Allen Hill (Yorkshire), Charles Corden (Worcestershire), and one other non-cricket. Very good condition.
