Charles Burgess Fry. Oxford University, Sussex, London County, Hampshire, Europeans & England 1892-1922. Four early mono postcards (two real photographs) of Fry depicted in various guises. Real photograph postcards include one of Fry standing full length in batting stance at the wicket, bat raised, unknown publisher series no. 997, and another three quarter length wearing naval uniform, unknown publisher series no. 5187, both postally unused. The others depict Fry in football attire, one Raphael Tuck ‘Football’ series no. 900, the other by C.W. Faulkner of London. Minor staining and other odd faults, otherwise in good condition.
