Sussex C.C.C. 1929. Original sepia photograph of the four Sussex players who were selected for the 1929/30 M.C.C. tour to New Zealand, signed in black ink to the photograph by all four. The players are W.L. Cornford, K.S. Duleepsinhji, E.H. Bowley and A.H.H. Gilligan who captained the tour. All four depicted in cricket attire and blazers. The photograph, by F. Bolland of Eastbourne was probably taken during the Eastbourne Cricket Week 21st- 27th August 1929. 7.75”x5.75”, laid to photographer’s mount, overall 11.5”x8.25”. Some wear to the mount otherwise in good condition.
