Kent and Yorkshire c.1900. Twenty two excellent signatures in ink, comprising thirteen of Kent players, seven of Yorkshire, and two others, each individually signed in ink to piece, all lightly laid to both sides of a large album page. Kent signatures are Eustace B. Shine, Gerald J.V. Weigall, Frederick ‘Nutty’ Martin, Frederick H. Huish, Alec Hearne, Cuthbert J. Burnup, Samuel H. Day, Robert O’H. Livesay, William H. Patterson, John R. ‘Jack’ Mason, Walter M. ‘Bill’ Bradley, Tom E. Pawley, and the rarer Arthur H. du Boulay (Kent & Gloucestershire 1899-1908, nine matches). Yorkshire signatures are John Tunnicliffe, John T. Brown ‘Jnr’ of Darfield, Edward ‘Ted’ Wainwright, David Denton, Schofield Haigh, George H. Hirst, and David Hunter. Two others appear to be Arthur Lancaster (unidentified) and Hugh G.P. Owen (Cambridge University & Essex 1882-1902). Very good condition.
