‘Kent and Sussex against All England’ 1856. Small and early original single sided scorecard for the match played at Canterbury 11th & 12th August 1856 with complete printed scores. All England (71 & 119) lost to Kent and Sussex (165 & 26/4) by six wickets). John Lillywhite top scored with 50 in Kent & Sussex’s first innings and Edgar Willsher took eleven wickets in the match. Other notable players include Andrews, John Wisden, Tredcroft, Dean, Adams, Goodhew (Kent & Sussex), Ponsonby, Nicholson, Grundy, Caffyn, Parr, Julius Caesar, Lockyer, Martingell (All England) etc. Printed on the ground by W. Jennings. 3.5”x5”. Minor soiling, otherwise in good/ very good condition.
