Sussex v Kent 1888. Early original double sided scorecard with complete printed scores for the match played at Hove, 5th- 7th July 1888. Sussex (107 & 146) lost to Kent (146 & 109/5) by five wickets. Top scorers in the match were Walter Quaife (56) in Sussex’s second innings and George Hearne (46) in Kent’s first innings. Printed by Crowhurst of Brighton. 5”x7.5”. Local advertising to verso. Horizontal fold, small loss to top corners, minor age toning, otherwise in good condition.
